Rate Hike Leaves Seniors Stranded

The spacious room where the Consumer Action Program of Bedford-Stuyvesant Nursing Home runs its social adult day program used to be packed with 40 to 60 seniors daily. Now, about 15 disabled elders spend the day here when they – or their caretakers in some cases – can afford to.
